Discover Cabanillas
Cabanillas, in La Ribera de Navarra on the banks of the Ebro, is defined by market gardens, riverside groves and an old town presided over by a singular Romanesque church. The town grew under the influence of the Order of San Juan de Jerusalén from 1142 and today combines heritage, accessible walks beside the Tauste Canal and certified dark skies for stargazing. A convenient base for exploring Bardenas Reales, Cabanillas offers free guided visits to its most emblematic sites, a section of the Ebro Green Corridor for walking or cycling at an easy pace, and a stargazing viewpoint within Spain’s first Starlight Sites Network.
