Town Hall

Corella Town Hall, on Plaza de España, is one of the major landmarks of Baroque civic architecture in Navarre. Built between the 17th and 18th centuries, it combines the solidity of stone on the ground floor with the elegance of brick on the upper levels, reflecting the splendour of the city at that time.nnThe facade is organised into three levels and an attic. On the ground floor, three lintelled doorways stand out, while the noble floor features a continuous balcony topped by the heraldic coats of arms of Corella. The attic, with circular oculi, brings lightness and rhythm to the composition.nnFrom the late 18th century it is documented as the municipal seat and mayor’s residence, and over time it became consolidated as the centre of institutional life. Today it still houses the Town Hall and also hosts cultural events, exhibitions and celebrations, maintaining its role as a public reference space in the city.
