Ermita Santa Lucia. Fustiñana

The Hermitage of Santa Lucía is located on a natural balcony, 300 meters above sea level, with views of the banks of the Ebro, Moncayo and Bardenas Reales.

The current temple was built at the beginning of the s. XX, in the year 1909, in the same location where an old hermitage was found that had sunk in the second half of the s. XIX. This was under the patronage of Santa Engracia and is documented from the s. XVI. The dedication to Saint Lucia began with the inauguration of the new construction; At the same time, the Brotherhood of Santa Lucía was created, in charge of the festivities that are celebrated annually around it every December 13.

The contemporary construction, in masonry stone, has a rectangular floor plan with a single nave and a vaulted roof. The façade shows an attached porch, a circular skylight with grillwork and a belfry with a bell. The interior is dominated by the carving of Saint Lucia, without an altarpiece.
