Discover Cascante

Did you know that Cascante, a town located in the Ribera de Navarra, between the Bardenas Reales Natural Park and the Moncayo mountain range, was an ancient Celtiberian settlement and an important Roman enclave (Cascantum)?

The relationship between this land and wine goes back a long way, as the archaeological remains from the Roman period bear witness.

The experiences on offer are diverse: you can go for a walk along the Roman road, cycle along the Tarazonica Greenway or go as far as the Lor Lagoon, along the way you will find centenary olive trees, vineyards and birdwatching.

However, if you fancy doing something different, we suggest a buggy route with Activa Experience through the vineyards of Cascante with interpretative stops and a subsequent visit to the Malón de Echaide Winery, with tasting included.

Once the visit is over, you can go for lunch at the Hostal and Restaurant El Lechuguero, where Carmelo and Angelines will offer you a menu of seasonal vegetables from their own garden in perfect harmony with local wines and olive oil.

Be sure to have your photo taken in the arches of the Basílica del Romero.

In the afternoon, you can rest and relax at the Cascante Thermoludic Centre.

And if you have travelled by caravan, we can leave it parked in the caravan park.

What better occasion to visit the Ribera de Navarra, Ribera Inesperada.

Are you up for it? It's also a good plan for a couple.
