Casa Loygorri, Cintruénigo
The Loygorri (Echarpe de Loygorri or Loygorri de Echart) after settling in Burguete, originally from the houses of Echeparre de Zabalza and Loygorri de Lasa, moved to Cintruénigo standing out as powerful and wealthy merchants, in the ecclesiastical administration and military vocation. In the locality they erected at least two houses; the second, today Barón de la Torre, was built in the second half of the s. XVIII, it shows off a valuable brick and stone façade with original geometric motifs that frame its openings and coat of arms: Loygorri, Virto, Echart y Casado, García Arista, Ichaso, Luna and Cid Feijoo.
