Watchtower and Remains of the Old Castle

At the top of the escarpment stood the medieval watchtower that protected the settlement and controlled the routes between Pamplona and Tudela. Today, remains integrated into the terrain, sections of wall and auxiliary structures, recall the defensive role of the site and its strategic value.

The promontory has become an excellent viewpoint. From above, you can take in the broad terraces of the Arga and the mosaic of crops, offering a very clear reading of the geography that gave meaning to the fortification.
