San Gregorio Archaeological Site and Roman Kiln
Around Calle San Gregorio stands a Roman archaeological site that includes a ceramic kiln dated to the 1st-2nd centuries AD, a rare example in Navarre due to its typology. The kiln preserves its combustion chamber and firing grate, elements that help explain Roman pottery technology. Archaeological work has also documented remains of a late Roman villa linked to the kiln, along with ceramic and building fragments that bear witness to a small local production supplied by the Ebro.
Today, the site is presented as an educational resource, with interpretation panels and routes that explain the historical context of the enclave, its connection with ancient routes and the agricultural use of the riverside landscape.
