Discover Ribaforada
Ribaforada is a town in La Ribera of Navarre, 107 km from Pamplona and around 14 km from Tudela. With 3,701 inhabitants (INE 2024) and an area of 28.95 km², its landscape is shaped by the Ebro and by an extensive irrigation network that supports the local market gardens. The town’s name comes from Romance, from “riba” and “forada”, and refers to the pierced riverbank or promontory where the settlement grew, in connection with the river. Ribaforada’s tourist appeal combines Roman archaeological heritage, a medieval Templar legacy, religious architecture, routes alongside the Imperial Canal of Aragon, and a viewpoint dedicated to the landscapes of the Bardenas Reales and Moncayo.
