Old Town and Ebro Bridge

The Old Town preserves a medieval layout of narrow streets, passageways and squares that reflect centuries of history. Heraldic houses, urban palaces and religious buildings come together to create an area full of atmospheric corners. The stone Ebro Bridge, with 17 uneven arches and 16 piers, is the historic gateway into Tudela. Built in the Middle Ages, probably in the time of Sancho VII the Strong, it has been restored several times. From its pointed arches there is one of the best panoramic views of the cathedral and the fertile Mejana.
