Plaza de los Fueros

Built between 1687 and 1691 over the course of the River Queiles, Plaza de los Fueros is the social centre of Tudela. It was originally used as a bullring and has had its current name since 1893. Its rectangular layout is surrounded by uniform facades with continuous balconies, giving it great harmony. The square is home to the Casa del Reloj and an ornamental bandstand from 1921. Alongside historic houses with heraldic coats of arms, it hosts the Bajada del Ángel, Easter events, the patron saint festivities and the popular “Revoltosa”.
