It stands out for its accurate proportions, its brick mouldings, its extraordinary balcony with beautiful wrought iron balusters, the shell-shaped coat of arms on the corner of the building with its four quarters: Sesma, Sierra, Escudero and Ruiz de Murillo and the chains that give it its name and which are displayed on both entrance doors.
The house of the Virto Vera family is located in the Plaza de los Fueros and was built in 1741 by Juan Fermín Virto de Vera-Azpilcueta y Larreta, born in Pamplona in 1688 and a royal notary. It is a Baroque building with Aragonese influences. Its cubic floor plan is distributed in a three-storey elevation plus an attic. Inside the building, there is a magnificent Baroque staircase and a vault decorated with the family coats of arms, which serves as the ceiling of the main staircase.
The house of the Arteta is located next to the Parish Church of San Miguel. Originally (16th century), the house belonged to the Agramontesa family of the Peralta family, but it changed hands at the beginning of the 17th century, when its owner became Mr. Agustín de Sesma y Sierra, one of the most important merchants in Corella and also the owner of the Casa de las Cadenas or Casa de los Sesma.
