Other vegetables
Our garden is very generous throughout the year. The winter brings the delicious chicory, the aromatic celery, the fine escarole and the newcomer broccoli. Spring is a time of delicate peas, of the beans for our typical “vegetable menestra” and the tender onions that we stew in our own way. The fresh pocha “white beans” arrives with the summer, the tasty pink tomato or the ugly one of Tudela, the soft onion for salad , fresh chilli or the garlic of Falces. And with autumn comes a large variety of peppers, the meatiest of the "Cucón" or ball, the finest of the crystal or the well-known piquillo. Also the pumpkin and zucchini and the tasty “ Limas” rice from Arguedas.
