Parish Church of Santa María (Falces)

It was built around the 10th or 11th century. The current gothic structure dates from the 17th century and has three naves, a transept and a dome. The parish was supported by the tithes and first fruits paid by the parishioners, the clergy being chosen by the people. The income of the Parish of Falces was the richest in the area and for this reason it has had several bishops and even a pope as priors. The Renaissance carving of the Virgen de las Arcas stands out.
