Discover Villafranca
Villafranca, in the Merindad of Tudela and the Ribera Arga-Aragón, is one of the most representative centres of Navarrese Baroque. Its historic centre showcases the Ribera style of exposed brick, large balconies and high arcaded galleries, with a monumental ensemble that opens onto the viewpoint of Paseo MarquĆ©s de Vadillo (the āAtrioā). In addition to its heritage, the natural setting beside the Aragón River, very close to where it meets the Arga, invites you to enjoy walks among riverside woods, poplar groves and wetlands. Every autumn, in late September and early October, the Baroque Days transform the town into a 17th- and 18th-century setting, with guided tours, a period market and early music.
