Discover Cascante
Cascante, located in La Ribera de Navarra between the Bardenas Reales Natural Park and the Moncayo range, was once a Celtiberian settlement and an important Roman enclave known as Cascantum. Its link with wine dates back centuries, as Roman archaeological remains still show. Visitors can stroll along traces of the Roman road, cycle the Tarazonica Greenway, explore the surroundings of the Lor Lagoon and enjoy landscapes of olive trees, vineyards and birdlife. The town also offers heritage landmarks such as the Romero arcade and basilica, wine and food experiences, outdoor routes and the Cascante Thermal Leisure Centre for a more relaxed end to the day.
